Spring Cleaning the (Urban) Farm

Are you an action-oriented person? Have you felt the need to do something impactfully for this year’s Earth Day? Do you want to get your hands dirty to help a great non-profit with their mission?

KCDW is offering participants to join Cultivate KC for spring chores at the Westport Commons Farm as part of their Earth Day Day of Service.  Parts of the field need sprucing up – spreading mulch, reestablishing pathways, preparing beds for planting, and generally staying on top of weeding. Large tools will be provided by Cultivate KC and it is encouraged to bring your own gloves and dress to be working in the field.

Outsourced Event | Vaccination & Mask Requirement
Spring Cleaning at the (Urban) Farm is a special event organized and presented by Cultivate KC for 2022 KC Design Week!

We have selected each “outsource” presenter to deliver something new, something cutting-edge, something unforgettable, and something delightful to add to our schedule. KC Design Week appreciates Cultivate KC for their enthusiastic participation!

This is an outdoor event so masks are required where adequate social distancing is not possible. Vaccination is encouraged.

These events are presented FREE of charge, but advance registration is REQUIRED
